Hello, my name is Zac DeJovine and a I am a long-time tutor/former teacher currently enrolled in grad school at Arizona State University. I have been tutoring since 2016, and tutoring online since 2018. I am happy to set up a free phone call consultation to discuss your academic needs and how I can help. I have experience with math tutoring services for  levels ranging from Kindergarten to Pre-Calculus and I have taught Geometry & Algebra at a high school level. My strength in tutoring math is my ability to reexplain concepts in different ways if need be. This is my most commonly tutored subject, both currently and historically, and I am confident that I can a difference with your math struggles. 

I offer engaging and effective English language arts tutoring services. My expertise includes essay writing, reading comprehension, and grammar. I help students develop the skills they need to succeed, whether that be for a Language Arts class or a standardized test. Having scored 770/800 on my SAT reading portion, I can teach you the same methods I used to attain this score. 

I offer Spanish lessons for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. Whether you need help with a class or would like to try my from-the-ground-up approach used to teach beginners, I got the help you need. My credentials are that I passed the NES Spanish Educator exam in 2021, and tested out of the language credits I needed to complete my undergraduate degree at ASU. 

• History/Political Science - My undergrad degree is in political science, and my favorite subject when I was in school was history. I feel extrememly comfortable helping students prepare for tests or write essays pertaining to history and politics. 
• Nutrition/Sustainability - My current grad school program is Sustainable Food Systems through the Swette Center at ASU. My personal health background includes me being a type 1 diabetic who eats a keto diet to manage it, with near normal A1C (blood sugar) levels as a result. Whether for a class or a personal project. I can teach you all I now about nutrition and food sustainability.
